The worst place I lived in. My life was a living hell for the two years I was there. For one, the apartment was so old and had many problems, such as the stove not working properly, the fridge had broken trays, the carpet was super old/musty, broken windows etc. I’ll admit, the maintenance man, Richard, was quick and efficient to get things fixed. He could only do so much. He was the only positive thing about this place. There was also a cockroach infestation in my building. Yes COCKROACHES. They sent an exterminator to clear the entire unit where the cockroach nest was, but the other units in the building were told we could not use our kitchen and had to empty all our pantry items and dishes and basically leave our cupboards completely empty while the guy sprayed and it dried, around 2-3 days. Do you know what an inconvenience it is to PACK YOUR ENTIRE KITCHEN, not have access to cook/eat, and then organize all the dishes/pantry items again. Fine I’ll do it because I don’t want bugs. I thought this was the end of it. One week later, they told us WE HAD TO DO THE WHOLE PROCESS AGAIN BECAUSE THE COCKROACHES DIDN’T DIE. (Which, by the way, they lied and never admitted to the infestation and said this was a preventative measure but an employee told me the truth.) Next, the neighbors were sketchy and scary, with pitbulls and large dog breeds allowed to roam around. People smoking constantly outside and INSIDE the units, so much so, the smoke came up my ventilation from the unit below. Cops were called many times over couples fighting/screaming at each other, and another time I witnessed a man in my building get arrested by two US Marshalls. Felt very unsafe as a woman living there. To top it all off, my rent was increased by almost $600 after my first year. $600!!! I was told this new price was now up to market value. The only reason I chose this place in the first place was because of the price. I was not expecting a luxury apartment by any means and put up with all the bad because of how low I was paying. However, I didn’t know it would be THIS bad. I was given less than 60 days notice to vacate or pay up. And if I wanted to go month-to-month it would go up ANOTHER $300. I felt my hands were tied and chose to stay another year with the plan in mind to move out after this second year. The parent company that owns these apartments called AMC LLC (Apartment Management Consultants) are awful to deal with. I tried to negotiate terms, price, anything, and they did not care. Just look at their Google page, terrible reviews. Also, the property managers are nice but they are very overwhelmed because for some reason, AMC moves them around to another property after 3-6 months. So they finally get acquainted with residents and with the property and then they are moved. So weird! Lastly, I will say the anxiety, stress, and instability this place brought me for two years was not worth it!!! *This is based on my opinions and experiences I had while living here.*

This place is quiet and lovely. Lots of mature trees provide lots of shade making the apartments cooler in the summer. I just moved in and love the layout of the 1 bdrm, especially that the bathroom is not off the bedroom which a lot of other 1 bdrm apartments do. I am close to the pool area and kids playground and it is still quiet. The staff is awesome and wonderful to work with. Any maintenance issues get resolved quickly. Definitely like it here so far!

EDIT: I ended up living here for almost 2 years, and my experience ended up going downhill, the apartment vents are very very dusty, after a while I noticed more dust piling up and I questioned if they’ve ever even cleaned the ducts after a week of cleaning the vents there was more, I had a lot of allergies, sneezing, runny and stuffy nose, waking up with a dry nose, dry eyes, dry skin, waking up with sore throat or a tickle cough, constant headaches, I have asthma so I think I was more sensitive to it but the other people I lived with experienced the same symptoms, when we weren’t home we felt fine and right when we got back same thing, I noticed soon after moving there were huge cracks on the balcony door, every night we could smell the refinery and the cold would come in so we tucked paper in the gaps, big spiders came through there in the summer and a bee which stopped after plugging but we could still smell the refinery, above that door I noticed like 2 black spots, after time I got suspicious because it seemed to look a bit bigger, I told them I think there’s mold and I was told it’s just dirt and a solution got sprayed, and I was like oh well alright and I put up curtains, and I took them down when I moved just to see it’s spread significantly and it’s probably just gonna get painted over, so if you care about your health probably avoid these apartments, besides that for our first summer there in June we noticed a lot of tiny baby wasps hovering our stairs, contacted management and was told pest control would be there in a few weeks, they came and the wasp issue was gone, next summer comes and they are back and there’s so many and I’m trying to spray them with my own solution killing many and so many still coming back every day, I contacted about the issue in the beginning of June and was told they would come the third week of June and they NEVER came, there were plenty of nests along the roof of the buildings mine and the one next, nests under the car ports, and my boyfriend had to manually spray them and knock them down in the evening in the front of our apt and the carports ahead of us for us to finally have relief. Very old appliances that break easy, no microwave or washer and dryer included, we moved to a townhouse and we are paying 100 more and everything is brand new and the air is clean. Leaving a review after living here almost a month, apartment is great! there’s pretty solid walls in my experience and the vaulted ceilings on the third floor are so nice, super cozy and nice layout, we’ve loved it so far, no complaints as of right now, wifi is good. Also good experiences so far with the property manager Erica, applying and moving went super smoothly and she’s been quick to reply to emails with any questions and she’s really kind from what i’ve experienced, the maintenance guy i’ve met has been really nice as well 👌🏻 overall good 😊 will update if anything changes with time but looking pretty great so far.
