So far my experience at Woods Crossing has been amazing! Erica is beyond amazing! She helped me get everything ready for me to move in. Our maintenance person is fantastic. The apartment I ended up in is a 2bed 1bath on the top floor, neighbors are quiet which is a huge plus from my previous apartment experiences. Rent is really well priced considering the prices everywhere else Iâve looked. The complex is clean, lots of parking, an option for covered parking, internet is included in rent, thereâs a pool thatâs open in summer. Iâm so happy I picked this complex to call home.
Updated Review: July 17, 2025
So I originally wrote this review when I moved into the complex Feb 2024. Things went down hill at this complex pretty quickly. I had no AC for over a year. When they said the problem was fixed it was right when fall hit and the temperatures cooled off so I was using my heater. That wasnât the case. Summer 2025 came around and my apartment would not cool down. It would sit between 86-94° (photos of therm sitting at 84°) in my place. I complained, put in multiple maintenance requests and their response was that it was my fault it wasnât working. Apparently I ran my AC too much which caused it to freeze over. I left the AC off for almost a week and when I turned it back on it froze back over less than 24hrs having it running (photo 2 unit frozen back over). I asked maintenance to fix it but I was again told it was my fault. I got a window unit that was supposedly going to cool off my whole apartment. It sort of cooled off my bedroom, the rest of the house was horrible.
Next the âamazingâ office manager Erica didnât redo my lease properly and caused me to have an apartment for an extra month.
Photos 3-9 are all from the intake vent under the AC unit. I had to pray the vent off to even be able to try to clean it properly as they just paint over them. Maintenance straight out told me after I had moved in that they donât clean the air vents and ducts and havenât since he started working there. Maybe had they cleaned these things there would be less HVAC problems. I was vacuuming the outside of the vent to remove pet hair.
My garbage disposal went out twice and I was yet again told it was MY fault because I supposedly had put bones down my disposal yet I donât put any form of meat down my garbage disposal as i know exactly what happens when you do. I am also 90% vegetarian and both times these incidents happened I was not eating meat at all.
The complex canât seem to keep an office manager and so thereâs constantly temps and people quitting anywhere from 2-14 days of working there which makes getting maintenance requests actually done because thereâs nobody in the office to approve the requests.
I regret ever moving into this complex. Save your money go find somewhere a little more with less problems.
